When browsing on the Dealigg website ( http://www.dealigg.com/ ), Pale Moon 25.7.0 may crash.
Typically the browser slows before the crash. The browser does not always crash.
To try to reproduce the crash:
1. Go to http://www.dealigg.com/
2. Click any picture or heading in the main body of the page.
3. During load of a new page, browser may slow or crash.
I am using Windows XP Professional with Service Pack 3 and Pale Moon 25.7.0. I have attached a picture of a instance of the crash's information.

Re: Browser May Crash When Browsing Dealigg Site
Hmm.. it seems like that page is exhausting the JS stack. It doesn't exactly crash the browser (unless you stop the nonresponsive application manually yourself before it throws a script error, which tends to be some twitter widget) but will halt script execution with "too much recursion".
Firefox will actually also throw the "too much recursion" error in the console but it more gracefully recovers from it (it also fails, just silently). So it's a website scripting bug that causes denial of service (at least until it times out) in Pale Moon. Recursive calls are very difficult to recover from or to troubleshoot. I can see if I can find out what's going on but no guarantees; if you frequent that site you may want to give them a nudge about their scripting error and let them know it's somewhere in the area of their twitter platform widget. (platform.twitter.com/widgets.js)

I clicked on your link and followed your instructions. Pale Moon did not crash on me. However, it does hang for a little bit since my Activity Indicator stops spinning and then continues.
I'm using 64 bit linux Pale Moon 25.7.0 in 64 bit linux Mint 17.2 (Rafaela).

The Dealigg site still appears to retain the problem. For me, most often the problem DOES result in a browser crash most often, but sometimes the browser can recover.ascii_elite wrote:Nudge sent.Moonchild wrote:if you frequent that site you may want to give them a nudge about their scripting error and let them know it's somewhere in the area of their twitter platform widget. In the meantime, I have blacklisted platform.twitter.com/widgets.js in Adblock Latitude as a workaround.
EDIT: Also the browser I am using now is Pale Moon 25.7.2.
