That settings panel is all messed up. The 'confirm e-mail address' field has my username in it by default, 'current password' has some kind of code instead of a sentence explaining what goes in there. I can't seem to be able to change my e-mail address because it tells me I 'did not enter a confirm password', which I don't need unless I change the password, too. If I fill all password fields with my password, it says 'the password you entered is the same as the current password'. Believe me, I've tried all combinations.

Re: Edit Account Settings
Just checked my account settings and the info in it is where it is supposed to be. I can change the info too. So on my end, my account settings are normal.

Re: Edit Account Settings
Your user name and password are likely filled in autmatically, from saved password credentials - that would explain the "did not enter a confirm password" - you should remove the password entry from the e-mail field before submitting information in that form.
As for "code": please provide a screenshot.

Re: Edit Account Settings
You're right, that worked. Guess I was either tired or didn't think of it. One point of improvement: The 'New Password' field could be left blank to avoid confusion like that.
There's the screenshot. The lowest line should be human-readable. Looks like it was just forgotten.

Re: Edit Account Settings
it just happens to be filled out because of stored login details - potentially a rename of the fields would solve this, I'll have to have a look at it when i'm not in the middle of release engineering.
As for the current password, that should be filled out properly -- at least it is over here:

Are you using British English? if so, that would mean that phpBB messed up their default language in 3.0.14Current password:
To change your password, your email address, or your username, you must enter your current password.

Re: Edit Account Settings
Ohh, I get it. It added my name and password because I have them saved in Palemoon and the fields are a match. Would probably be neater if they weren't available to be auto-filled. There was a setting for this that some online banks use if I remember right.
And yeah, I'm using en-us.

Re: Edit Account Settings
en-us should be fine (no problem here). I said "British English"

Re: Edit Account Settings
I tried safe mode as well as en-us, en-gb, en. It doesn't seem to make a difference.
Anyway, it's not a big deal, really. I got my profile updated.

Re: Edit Account Settings
I was talking about the setting in the forum, not in the browser...
I've changed it to American English for you - let me know if it still happens now.

Re: Edit Account Settings
That fixed it. Didn't even know there was a language setting for the forums.
Re: Edit Account Settings
The default is US-English for anyone, so you must have changed it sometime
