Fasterfox (or alternative)

I am much happier with the speed of Pale Moon compared to Firefox but can you let me know if there is any way of speeding it up even more, eg Fasterfox or an alternative or pipelining?

Please be aware that Pale Moon comes with optimal defaults for most networking connections.
Pipelining is enabled by default. You shouldn't have to "tweak" anything :) (in fact, it may harm its performance)

Thanks for the replies, guys. Now, I'm confused :wtf: . Pipelining is enabled by default but Fasterfox is compatible and available, via Firefox I presume, but could harm performance. So would installing Fasterfox benefit or hinder my browsing speed?

If it tries to set preferences that are already set, then it will do absolutely nothing -- but it will do more than just enable pipelining as far as i understood, and letting it change these settings is entirely at your own risk. It may hinder your browsing speed.
The fact that the extension might be compatible with Pale Moon and works on it properly doesn't necessarily mean that the function it performs is also automatically going to have the same effect or that it is beneficial for Pale Moon.

Try the DNS Benchmark tool if you want to attempt a speed-up of your browsing. It does a good job of locating the fastest DNS servers you could use. Make sure you read all instructions.
