BetterTTV no longer works!

Is there any way for this addon to be compatible because im not sure if i can live without it i might need to use cyberfox or waterfox.

I even tried Greasemonkey script instead which works with any browser but not palemoon seems it ether does not work with palemoon anymore because when i go to download them in palemoon it wont work.

Ok i have actually got it working but i had to use grease monkey 1.15. How safe is it using older addons?

Perfectly safe in just about every situation. Most extensions are only updated for new features and/or to follow changes in the browser they are created for; the security of extensions is normally determined by the security of the browser they are running on. In the case of greasemonkey, the security is mostly determined by which scripts you run, not the extension itself

Few extentions have sec issues and in general cooperb21 is corrent. MOST of them have very little actual development and it is largly due to the moving target that is Firefox Austalis Rabid Release... but this like everything else does have exceptions. You should eval on a peradd-on basis.
