Space Next (We have this functionality built in) ?

Post by andrew g » 2015-01-18, 23:24

On your page listing incompatible extensions you list Space Next as a "won't fix" as its functionality is built it to PM. Well, my space bar does the page-down function but does not navigate to the next page once the bottom of the page is reached. How do I turn this on?
Thanx in advance...

Space bar "pages down" which is displaying "the next page" of the website document.
Navigating to a different document by using the space bar is certainly not desirable - one button/key for one function, please.

Also, navigating to the "next page" -- how is Pale Moon supposed to know what "next" is for sites? Every site has their own navigation design.

Space Next seemed to work for most sites that had a next link near the listing of multiple pages. It was very simple to hit the space bar a final time and have what must be a generic html command take you to the next page on the list. Worked on about eighty percent of websites.

It's obviously "guessing" based on keywords then :)

You might want to look into adapting the extension for Pale Moon, in that case, or getting Pale Moon support from the extension developer (if not abandoned).

I will look more closely at it then.
How far are you prepared to go? How much are you prepared to risk? How many people are you prepared to sacrifice for victory?
Are you willing to die friendless, alone, deserted by everyone? Because that's what may be required of you in the war that is to come.
