Horizontal rule is broken

Post by Mæstro » 2025-12-13, 21:00

While writing another post, I discovered that [hr] and [hr][/hr] no longer produce horizontal rules as intended. [br] for break, as I have seen elsewhere, is also ineffective. I remember the first of these working before, and the others are plausible guesses to corrections on the off chance my addled mind has forgotten how to use it properly, so I am reporting it here.

br has never been a thing. if you want a forced newline without a par break, just add one newline. if you want paragraph spacing, add two newlines.

As for hr, it requires a color between start and end tags to specify the color of the line. See also the sticky in this board about bbcode.
