On flightradar24 I can see the map, but cannot see airplanes and tracks. (Sometimes the track appear, but sporadically.)

Operating system: Linux (OpenSUSE Leap 15.6)
Browser version: 33.8.0
32-bit or 64-bit browser?: 64-bit (GTK2)

Browser theme (if not default): Camimoon 2.8.2
Installed add-ons: many
Installed plugins: (about:plugins): xine, djview, gxine

Flightradar 24 is really messed up "royally".

I found the exact same thing happened to me using linux Pale Moon 33.8.0 (GTK2), but with other problems as well. My external monitor started to blink on and off. When I tried to exit out of the website, none of the buttons on my linux Panel would work. Ditto for any button on my Bookmarks Toolbar as well as my Menu Bar. This all happened after I agreed to the TOS (terms of service) for their cookies.

I had to do a hard shutdown on my computer and then rebooted the computer. Thinking it had to do with something in their cookies. I went to Tools > Permissions, found FR 24 and deleted all of the cookies for FR 24.

But I went one step further. I opened linux Firefox 140.0.2 and the same thing happened again. So I had to do a "rinse and repeat" to exit out of Firefox as well. I did not use linux Waterfox because I surmised the exact same thing would happen using Waterfox (6.5.10).

If anyone wants to go to FR 24, be very, VERY careful.

At this time on this SSD, I am using 64 bit MX Linux 23.6 (Libretto) Xfce.

Night Wing, I had no problems like yours, I just closed the tab in PM without any consequences. But I needed to open the flightradar24 on the Brave browser to track the flight I was interested in.

Like I stated above, I could NOT use "any" button so closing the tab was impossible. Whoever is maintaining the FR 24 website, is not as good as they think they are in my opinion.

With two browsers (Pale Moon & Firefox) not working properly with FR 24, there is definitely a problem. Since I use FR 24 regularly to track my wife's family when they travel by air on flights, I will have to find an alternative to FR 24 if the problem is not fixed since this problem affects both Pale Moon and Firefox which I use and I suspects Waterfox as well.

Since you are using the Brave browser, is that based on the Chrome browser like Vivaldi is? If if is, then this just might be another case where sites want people to use a Chrome like browser. Believe me when I say I was really surprised FR 24 did not work with linux Firefox.

Most of these maintainers I think just want to check their sites using Chrome, Edge, Safari and Firefox.

Yeah, Brave (and Edge) are google chromium browsers like Vivaldi (and Opera). Chromium was forked from Safari. Firefox contain a whole lot of google tech/API's. So it's indeed a monoculture thing, sadly.

Since FR 24 is no longer working for me with linux Pale Moon (and linux Firefox), I have switched over to PlaneFinder (for the time being).

Thought I would do an update. Keep in mind I use three different linux browsers.

Pale Moon (for me) still does not work with FR 24. Firefox did not work for me, but it does now and FR 24 also now works with Waterfox.
