The banner at bottom of browser asking to "refresh"?

Not knowing what saying "Yes" does in response to the banner at the bottom of the browser (asking if I'd like to "refresh" browser) - I did not reply to it.

What does saying "Yes" to the banner to "refresh" the browser actually do?

I can't find anywhere there is an "option" to do this (after the fact of ignoring the request)....

I wasn't able to find out anything on this anywhere as well (but of course I probably wasn't thorough enough - my apologies if that's the case).

Can you post a screenshot? maybe refresh refers to updating the browser, but the updater doesn't show up in the way you describe AFAIK.

Some of what was said in the (alert) banner (at the bottom of the browser) was about my not using the browser for a long time and was asking if I wanted to "refresh" the browser to bring it more up to date (as I recall - something to that effect as far as I can remember).

Once ignored (as I did - as I had no idea what is entailed by doing a "refresh") then the banner does not return.

I should have taken a screen-shot - I guess the only way to repeat this (to be able to provide a screen-shot) would be to not use Basilisk for a couple of months or so... then presumably the banner would return...

I think that's a leftover from Firefox which would trigger a "reset" of the active profile using the profile migration, basically Mozilla's way of avoiding potential issues with old profiles in their constant release churn.
So, it would trigger a profile reset, basically migrating across existing bookmarks, site data and passwords but removing everything else (IIRC).

^ Thanks for the heads-up - certainly not something I'd want to do - so I'm sure glad I declined (i.e. ignored) the prompt (It'd be nice to get an "i" button or something to provide users with more info on that banner in this case ).

I might end up just removing this. I can't really think of a solid reason anyone should use this functionality, I have never used this feature even on Firefox.

For the record (since I rarely use Firefox - I got that same "refresh firefox" banner (as I did in Basilisk). It's not at the bottom, it's near the top of the browser.
