Hello,
opening links from https://www.welt.de (a leading german news site) under "SCHLAGZEILEN" (headlines) in a new tab makes both browsers, PaleMoon & Basilisk (64-bit) freeze and the processor ,running hot'. Applies to Windows and Linux.
Many thanks in advance for your efforts!

Works fine on an empty profile, so if you don't provide the required troubleshooting information in the template we won't know what's wrong.

Re: Opening links on "welt.de" makes browsers stop working
First, sorry for the double-post.
@moonbat: the issue occures on clean/empty profiles, on both browsers, both os's in my case.
@adoxa: installing modhresponse-1.3.8.xpi and adding the filter
does not solve the issue here.
And i do not understand the practice "If I select to: Palemoon-Menu-View-Page Style-No Style the freeze is gone" of user florin here: viewtopic.php?p=254115#p254149
What means "Palemoon-Menu-View-Page"?
Thank you!

Did you enable the filter? (When you modify the Filter field it disables itself, you must explicitly enable it again.)
I've attached a screenshot (for Windows Basilisk) showing the "No Style" menu.

Man, that was a quick response @adoxa, - many many thanks: yes, enabling the filter did the job
!
Maybe, for an amateur like me: What does then cause the issue: is there a deficit in Palemoons http-engine or an irregular code on the site. Or can't that be determined simply, beacause HTTP isn't an exact ,science', more like law
