icloud.com: Your browser is not supported

Unread post by nonocut » 2024-07-08, 16:35

I was trying to access my icloud mail but the webpage says "Your browser is not supported". I'm using 33.2.0 on a mac. How can I fix this problem?

It wants window.MathMLElement, which isn't there. Here's a Modify HTTP Response filter to remove that test (the sign in page works, but I'm afraid I won't be able to help after that).

Code: Select all

[["www.icloud.com",["/",["e.MathMLElement&&",""]]]]

Why the F*** would a login page require anything related to MathML (a markup language specifically to display scientific formulae)?...

The login page doesn't require MathML, but the online/iCloud version of Numbers likely does. It's still a bit over the top to check it right at the login page.

Made a record of the addition in Issue #2548 (UXP).

Not super difficult but considering the almost unused nature of MathML as a concept on the web, it's low priority.
