Well, it installs, but does not work. No button at GUI appears, it is useless.

This isn't retarded Chromezilla where every extension has to add a toolbar button for want of other UI customizations. This one doesn't need one to operate, it functions in the background.

Just check the counter provided in the extension preferences, if it increases you know it's been working on some site.

Some I've installed because they clash with one of the extensions I maintain and then just disabled permanently after trying to work round.

I don't really use any. I used to play around with Greasemonkey before Pale Moon supported WebComponents, and used Ambassador back when that was supported, but now that I'm not on IRC as much and we have WebComponents, I haven't really had a need for an extension since. I also used to use ReminderFox, but the integrated Lightning calendar in Epyrus more or less replaced that.
