Post by timhok » 2019-11-02, 22:59

Does ipv6 even works in PaleMoon?
I cant get it to work, while its working just fine on other browsers in my system.

I tried safe mode and proxy settings at "no proxy"

Should be fine.
How far are you prepared to go? How much are you prepared to risk? How many people are you prepared to sacrifice for victory?
Are you willing to die friendless, alone, deserted by everyone? Because that's what may be required of you in the war that is to come.

It works, I can use it.
Powerline adapters (dLAN) hardly interfere shortwave radio, so stop using them.

Yes, I still use a 64 bit capable Pentium 4 670 processor with Pale Moon.

IPv6 works just fine in Pale Moon. Plenty of people use it.

Exactly what is happening? Any error messages? Perhaps your security software is interfering. Try disabling it or whitelisting Pale Moon.

Also: Information to include when asking for support

Sorry for wasting time, i figured out this myself:

network.dns.disableIPv6 was set to true (but i don't remember setting this for myself)

After setting it to false ipv6 websites are working just fine.
Maybe someone will find this information useful, topic can be closed now.

If you ever applied one of the "privacy" preferences hacks that float about on the internet then that might have been why (IPv6 by its nature generally has deeper network penetration than IPv4, and some people perceive this as a privacy threat).
