Basilisk and security updates

Post by JoeyG » 2019-02-05, 21:31

The last Basilisk update was 18 Dec 18. Since then, there have been two updates for the Pale Moon release version and even more for PM unstable.

Does this mean that Basilisk is behind on security updates?

Thank you.
Pale Moon x64 28.9.0.2, 29.0.0a3 (portable 2020.04.05), and Basilisk x64 2020.03.11 - all on Win7 SP1 x64 (English). Lenovo S20, Xeon X5670, 12gb RAM. NEC PA272W on Matrox C420. NEC SpectraView 241 and PA241W on Matrox M9120. Thanks to the devs.

No, it means that Basilisk is on its own release schedule.

As for unstable updates -- unstable is a rolling release of the dev state of the platform. Those can come daily.
