Copy from Clipboard isn't working for Facebook & Imgur.

Hello!

Using the Latest version of Palemoon over my Win 7 based notebook PC.
Copying image from clipboard isn't working for both Facebook & Imgur within Palemoon.
For Twitter, this feature is working fine ..though the overall performance is really dismal !

Palemoon does stick a lot while on Twitter & especially - the emojis section brings the entire browsing experience to a grinding halt !

Please look into the stated issues & help suggest further in this regard ?

PS - I use 'Greenshot' & Social-media platforms hand-in-hand. Image is copied to clipboard via Greenshot & then pasted onto appropriate Social-media platform using any of the web-browsers available out there!

1) I can copy an image from Facebook with copy image and paste it then without trouble into.. for example.. Paint

2) Same works for Imgur

Used: Pale Moon portable stable 64 Bit and native Pale Moon user agent without Firefox override


But i can confirm:

I can not copy paste a pic into imgur or Facebook

Does not work in IE11 and also not in Otter - but works in Chromium 64

Copying image data and pasting into Twitter and Facebook works here without any issues. Only Imgur doesn't like it, but that might be because Imgur wants to use a different API than the standard clipboard one -- more research would be required for that. It'll likely not be addressed in v27 if Basilisk/UXP solves this unless it's trivial to implement.

Yes that's about my posted thread.
Rest of the prominent browsers like Opera, Chrome, Firefox are absolutely OK with such a task.

Now using even the most recent version of Palemoon - 27.8.1

Wish to further confirm that 'Ctrl+V' (paste from clipboard) isn't working still for Facebook for either of these - New post, comments & pvt message.

How come your observation turned out to be different?

Pretty sure this will be fixed with the switch to UXP.

Which will hopefully upcoming in the near future. So, be patient and when running into an issue like that here, just use in the meantime a different browser - if that issue is not going to be fixed in the current incarnation of Pale Moon
