Importing Firefox 57 bookmarks to Basilisk

Post by Terryphi » 2018-01-02, 11:17

When I restore a backup of Firefox 57 bookmarks to Basilisk the bookmarks are updated as expected but Basilisk shows this (unnecessary?) pop-up message:

Code: Select all

Unable to process the backup file
Pale Moon does not show this warning message.

Do not try to use a backup file directly. Backup files are Firefox's internal format that isn't compatible.

use "Export to HTML" and then "Import from HTML" to transfer the bookmarks.
