This is sort of trivial, but it appears that the "Flexible Space" feature, doesn't work in the Address Bar, though it works in the Menu and Bookmarks Bars.
It (still) works correctly in Firefox 56 with my beloved Red Cats Green Flavor full theme and the Classic Theme Restorer extension.
I've uploaded an image so you can see what I mean.
http://edu-net.net/images/FlexSpace.jpg (397 Kb)
The text on the image is correct: In Firefox, I have 3 Flexible Spaces on either side of the Address Bar, and in Pale Moon, I have 30.
The image is pretty wide: It was made for my 27" monitor, and I didn't reduce it so you can read the text.
Thank you for your assistance.

Re: Pale Moon ignores flexible spaces in Address Bar
I have not tried the flexible space option in the address bar, but I do recall trying it in the Status bar some time ago and as I recall could not get it to work there either. At the time I ended up using the regular space item multiple times to get what I wanted (which I suppose you could try as well to see if you can get the results you want this way
).
