Ad blocking is under attack

An abdblock measuring company Admiral sent DMCA request to easylist to delete their servers from the list. This maybe the end of adblocking by way of legal tactics.

Dont think so.
Enough users dont care and provide a list just for blocking these domains.

Also you can make your own list and nobody can stop you to use that

You can't send a DMCA request for the use of a domain name... Don't people know copyright law?
In addition, Easylist is information used for blocking, not downloading, material, so it isn't even an "enabler".

I get their angle though. They say that the anti-adblock pop-up is "a control method to access a (copyrighted) website", so take the stance that blocking that anti-adblock would equal circumvention of a control method to access copyrighted material.
But it isn't; if you don't block ads and you either do or don't block their anti-adblock, you have access to the copyrighted (website) material without any active control method and without subjecting yourself to any control method that requires action to "allowing access to copyrighted content on a site only once a visitor has met the terms of access authorized by the copyright owner to gain access to the content". At the very least, these "terms of access" have to be stated clearly and unequivocally on the website itself, and have to be agreed to by the visitors to apply (which, as far as I understand it, can't be done in an opt-out fashion if you want DMCA to apply).
