If Mozilla is so concerned about privacy that it poses like a privacy advocate, it could have gone with home grown analytics solution. But no, they have a "special" deal with Google. Deals like these have made Firefox what it is today.
There can be more like this. The thing is we don't exactly know what all events and data are being sent to Google. Every person, every comapany, every phone, every computer is pushing data to Google servers and making it even more stronger and creating potential for abuse. Why?
