all of these videos worked perfectly fine in PM 26.5
in PM 27.3 the video randomly pauses (lags) for a second or two sometimes while the audio keeps playing.
in PM 27.3 all videos stop playing at 99 seconds.
using a 100% clean new profile in PM 27.3 does not resolve the issue.
in firefox 54.0 the videos play perfectly fine.

Re: GQ.com HTML5 video problems
As already stated many times in other threads created for similar issues with video playback, AS WELL AS on the known issues page and the release notes
As a workaround you could try to install HTML5 Media Tuner and disable MSE for problematic sites. In this case it helped me.

Re: GQ.com HTML5 video problems
for what it's worth i actually do use the search feature to see if the problems i post have already been solved. like when i searched for html5+video to try to solve this problem for example...
i did see 1 thread talking about problems with youtube that mentioned the "HTML5 Media Tuner" but it seemed to devolve into a discussion about google & chrome, so i wasn't sure how relevant it was...
also...
searching for known+issues using the forum search function...
search.php?keywords=known+issues
doesn't list the FAQ page you are referencing..
I found a known issues sticky page:
viewtopic.php?f=24&t=13804
I'll install the "HTML5 Media Tuner" addon and see what happens
thank you for the reply.
EDIT:
and, acually, lol, i have used that know issues page already in the past 24 hours, lol... to get my saved passwords into my new user profile...
...but i see no mention of HTML5. are you talking about some other known issues page that the forum search feature also fails to find?
EDIT2:
however, yes, thank you, i do see it on the release notes page.

Re: GQ.com HTML5 video problems
it might be really useful to update the known issues page in the forums.
the problems seem to be resolved by disabling Media Source Extensions.
thanks again.

Re: GQ.com HTML5 video problems
There is no "known issues page in the forums" you should always refer to http://www.palemoon.org/knownissues.shtml
also, searching the forum for html5+video will get you over 1000 matches.
