I am not sure what this is called, but in other browsers, I am used to checking an option that has the browser run the link that is clicked on, through a list of approved sites; if the link doesn't meet with approval, you see a different colored page (I think Firefox uses a dark red page) warning you of this page.
I was poking around my PM options and didn't see anything for this? Is this service available with PM? If not, I suppose I could find an extension for it....

No, we don't use so-called "SafeBrowsing" through a baked-in service. If you feel you need such a service, then there are plenty of options at your disposal.

Do you know of any that work with PM? I have already installed Norton Identity Safe, and McAfee Safe Web, but neither run plugins/addons for PM. I'd rather not use WoT at this point.Moonchild wrote:No, we don't use so-called "SafeBrowsing" through a baked-in service. I just found a list that is on the Adblock Plus site: https://adblockplus.org/en/subscriptions Search for Malware Domains.
I just installed this.

You can use uBlock which provide many filterlists which protect you.

Interesting that you said that. I couldn't get that filter running in ABL, so I installed ublock origin and it was blocking those sites immediately. I unchecked a lot of those filterlists---it seemed like ublock had a ton---I just have easylist and that malware domains one.dark_moon wrote:You can use uBlock which provide many filterlists which protect you.
