Something missing?

Post by IanDSamson » 2016-02-17, 09:06

What do I need to install to get rid of "This browser does not support video playback" error message in Linux Mint x64 Cinnamon?
gstreamer-ffmpeg is installed and the latest version.
Tried source code viewing but that's not useful.
There's something missing in my setup that prevents certain videos from displaying.
The Windows x64 version works fine.
Thanks.

Some video streaming sites use H.264 codec. For this to work in Palemoon set following in about:config:

media.gstreamer.enabled true
Linux Mint 19.2 64bit MATE. Latest build of Pale Moon. "If something is worth doing, it is worth doing for free."
