Need a non sdk version of YouTube All HTML5
When 27 rolls around I will be forced to keep version 26 on my parents computer do to the YouTube All HTML5 addon not being compatible. I looked at others and either they don't have what I want or are not compatible with PM. This is the extension. https://addons.mozilla.org/en-US/firefo ... src=search

Ok.. what do you want us to do about it? What is the point of this thread? To tell us an incompatible jetpack extension is incompatible?

These types of YouTube addons are also available as Greasemonkey scripts. One such popular script is ViewTube.
There are many others, however; feel free to have a look.

ViewTube seems to fit the bill. Thanks!

Would you happen to know of a GreaseMonkey script that makes Google results black? I had a script back in circa '08 that did this and it wasn't updated. I can't stand all that white.

I wonder why you need a addon for that.
If you doesn't have Flash installed then Youtube play only HTML5.
Works for me since a long time now and with Pale Moon 27 you can play HTML5 videos with more then 720p.

That's one way; another way to force Youtube to use Html5 is to visit this page: https://www.youtube.com/html5
If you are still using Flash by default, there will be a button to force Youtube to use HTML5.

This is for my parents computer. They are not going to bother entering a specific link or anything and my dad often finds videos through Google searching. Also, Flash needs to be installed unfortunately so that my parents can see a wide range of content.

@John Connor.
Sorry that I wasn't clear.
If you or your parents are currently using Flash to see Youtube videos, you only need to visit this page once:
https://www.youtube.com/html5
It then stores a cookie (or maybe it removes one) so that, from now on, all Youtube videos will be seen using the HTML5 player.

I don't keep cookies on browser exit. Cache and cookies are always deleted on browser exit an that's been my policy for years.
