New Pale Moon for Linux Site Available!
The new Pale Moon for Linux site is now available! You can download PM4Linux and the installer from there:
http://linux.palemoon.org/
Important: SourceForge will not be updated going forward! There will be no new versions uploaded (and the current ones will be removed eventually), and the information available on the wiki there will not be updated to reflect with current versions of Pale Moon. Please use the new site to access future versions and information. Also, version 0.2.0 of the installer will be REQUIRED to get Pale Moon 25.6.0 and above when they are released (so please update your installers now! )

Nice. Just a note: in the faq page, I think the last sentence should be
instead ofMost users are likely to install it into /opt which is unwriteable to most except the superuser, and running the browser as superuser is not considered proper security practice.

Re: New Pale Moon for Linux Site Available!
Just wondering: will the new Pale Moon for Linux site be added to the "Main" menu on the Pale Moon Project homepage, just like the Pale Moon add-ons site and the FossaMail homepage?

It's already automatically linked from the main homepage when you visit from Linux, and in the "Download" menu when choosing Linux.Antonius32 wrote:Just wondering: will the new Pale Moon for Linux site be added to the "Main" menu on the Pale Moon Project homepage, just like the Pale Moon add-ons site and the FossaMail homepage?

Could you list valid checksums (sha/md5) for the tar.bz2 palemoon files? Thanks.

I love Bloggers who carefully research and test their articles and not just modify old articles by copying and pasting changelogs to get some traffic
I am looking at you, Geekster http://linuxg.net/install-pale-moon-on-linux/How to install Pale Moon on 64 bit Linux systems:
|$ wget sourceforge.net/projects/pm4linux/files/25.6.0/palemoon-25.6.0.en-US.linux-x86_64.tar.bz2
$ tar -xjvf palemoon-25.6.0.en-US.linux-x86_64.tar.bz2
$ sudo rm -rf /opt/palemoon*
$ sudo mv palemoon /opt/palemoon
$ sudo ln -sf /opt/palemoon/palemoon /usr/bin/palemoon|
