I don't even know when it started, but it's beginning to cripple my Pale Moon...
Pale Moon insists everything must be "https". If I try to change the protocol to "http", it automatically changes to "https". Some web sites will refuse to load if "https".
Restarting PM in safe mode (no plug-ins) is no help.
Anyone got any ideas what's wrong?
Thank You.
PM insists on "https".

Re: PM insists on "https".
On which website does this occur?
Have you tried a clean profile?

Have you tried wiping out your history and cache...
Re: PM insists on "https".
What's "wrong" may be that the websites in question insist on telling the browser to use strict transport security (HSTS) or actually just forward you to https from http -- and at the same time not having their security set up properly, resulting in a failure to connect.
