would be nice if default values would popup when your hover over values

and-or a link to http://kb.mozillazine.org/Knowledge_Base section for that setting

Pale Moon Commander has been updated to version 1.5.0!

The extension puts its menu entries next to Options from now on to keep tools grouped better.

This update adds the following configuration options:
  • Added option for disabling accessibility colors in page content (Pale Moon only)
  • Added option for enabling/disabling OCSP-stapling
  • Added option for allowing unsafe expired stapled OCSP responses (Pale Moon only)
  • Added an option for entering a custom new tab URL

Pale Moon Commander has been updated to 1.6.0!

This update:
  • Adds Mozilla Australis compatibility
  • Adds settings for controlling your stored browser session
  • Adds a setting for HSTS
  • Adds a setting for tab focus switching in case of javascript dialogs
Get it here: http://relmirror.palemoon.org/tools/pmc ... -1.6.0.xpi
It's in the queue to be reviewed at AMO, no idea how long that will take.

I've also updated the manual:

Updating through Add-ons Manager doesn't work in Cyberfox/Firefox, but it works in Pale Moon.
I updated Pale Moon Commander manually.

Because Pale Moon Commander is now offered exclusively through our Add-ons Site.. not Mozilla's

I installed Pale Moon Commander 1.6.1 from Pale Moon Add-ons site in Pale Moon, Firefox and Cyberfox.
I don't know why updating is working in Pale Moon, but not in Firefox/Cyberfox.

Pale Moon Commander is NOT available on Mozilla's Add-on Site anymore and thus can't be updated from their add-ons site update service. Only Pale Moon has access to our add-ons site update service and our exclusive updates. They can of course go get it from the website manually or from a mirror.

Additionally, even if you worked the way to connect Firefox or Cyberfox to our updates service it would still be rejected due to https://github.com/Pale-Moon-Addons-Team/phoebus/blob/TRUNK/update/check.php#L21 This was done to prevent abuse of our update service because we don't have a server farm and endless monetary resources like Mozilla does.

Apparently some people missed what's happening, so here once more:
  • Pale Moon Commander has been removed completely from addons.mozilla.org. See viewtopic.php?f=1&t=8330
    This had several reasons:
    • Mozilla's "sole arbiter" role enforced upon extension developers even if they don't want to use anything at mozilla.org (a matter of principle)
    • Incompatibility with the strict UNALTERED requirement for redistribution in the Pale Moon Commander license (a legal matter)
  • Firefox and rebuilds (Waterfox, Cyberfox, {whatever}fox, Iceweasel, etc etc) will talk to addons.mozilla.org and will therefore not give any further updates to Pale Moon Commander.
  • Non-Pale Moon browser will not be allowed to use palemoon.org update services for extensions because we don't have the hardware to support a much larger audience (for no benefit to us, at that)

Pale Moon Commander has been updated to 1.7.0 (with a small delay for this announcement ;) )

This adds a single change to handle the address bar shading under Padlock in accordance with the change in Pale Moon 25.5.0

Or directly from the website at http://www.palemoon.org/commander.shtml
Or, if you already have it installed, check for updates for your extensions.
