I'm confused. What are you trying to 'fix', Pale Moon 25.x (Linux) browsing to outlook.com --or-- google.com?mozart78 wrote:Please, help, I don't want my browser initializes like Firefox 29 via addon :cry:
Same solution will work on any site..martywd wrote:I'm confused. What are you trying to 'fix', Pale Moon 25.x (Linux) browsing to outlook.com --or-- google.com?mozart78 wrote:Please, help, I don't want my browser initializes like Firefox 29 via addon
If 'google.com'? Is the issue as described here? ==> http://forum.palemoon.org/viewtopic.php ... gle#p39500
.
Code: Select all
general.useragent.override.google.com
Code: Select all
Mozilla/5.0 (Windows NT 6.1; WOW64; rv:25.0) Gecko/20100101 Firefox/24.9 PaleMoon/25.0
Your string looks correct. I just tried your string value and got the 'new' google pages? I don't know why it's not working for you? Edit: BTW, I'm using PM for Linux 25.0.0 (Linux Mint 17 MATE 64-bit)mozart78 wrote:Yes, I try it for google. I use:
for the string name and:Code: Select all
general.useragent.override.google.com
for the value.Code: Select all

I'm triple boot. On XP and Win7 this fix works flawlessly. At my work I use it on several XP machines and everywhere it works like a charm. On my Arch Linux which I use 99.99% of the time, it doesn't. I'm not such a noob... I can make you a video for proof :|
Google is really annoying like that.mozart78 wrote:It is strange why on windows it works with google.com, but not in Linux. I change it to google.bg and now it works perfect. Thank you and have a nive day
