PaleMoon w/o Web Dev Tools

I would like to install a palemoon with a small foot print with the necessary tools needed for browsing and enjoying the web. Would it not be a better browser if it came in 2 flavors, ie with web dev tools and w/o web dev tools? I mean, we non developers have no interest in developmental or inspection tools. But if we did, then it would be a nice option to download Palemoon that has those tools.

unfortunately, it was an honest mistake on my part b/c i was browsing the section on "portable" to find helpful info or ideas in line to my interest; when i then clicked "new topic".

If you want a custom Pale Moon you can build it your self though using some configure commands. We do have --disable-devtools

If you don't want to build it yourself, the Atom version has dev tools disabled by default, since it is aimed at netbooks and low resource machines where web developing is not done.

Please excuse my ignorance , does that mean I must add --disable-devtools to the Windows shortcut > properties > target, for something like this:

R:\PaleMoon\Palemoon-Portable.exe --disable-devtools

No, it is an option that has to be added in a file named .mozconfig if you wish to compile PM for yourself.

No, --disable-devtools is an option you pass in the configuration when you build it from source, yourself. (mid-aired with a2g XD)
