It's working for me on Basilisk right now, but not on Pale Moon, I also just get the blank page on Pale Moon. I've got another site that does the same - blank page on Pale Moon, but the site shows up on Basilisk, I'll write that one up separately soon. I wonder if its all those Basilisk polyfills that are included by default? Just a wild guess, I don't know enough about the difference between the two browsers otherwise to know why they are behaving differently.

Thanks for the info. I installed the getanimations-polyfill as a userscript, but looks like it's not enough.

Same with me on old.reddit.com/login. I figured it was just another website I was going to have to use Chromium for.

You can still use
old.reddit.com login form redirection fix user script. It adds working login form to old.reddit.com.

Cool workaround, many thanks UCyborg!
Marked as solved, even though the underlying issue remains I guess.

getAnimations itself is implemented in Pale Moon. set dom.animations-api.getAnimations.enabled to true. but it still doesnt work because all the web developers working in Reddit Inc have malfunctioning brains. i get AbortError in the console. that userscript worked though.

This login form on the old Reddit brought by the user script, I remember it not working recently. Surprisingly, it worked today. So old endpoint is back?
I could still read while logged off.
