Oh, wondering if it's skill issue on my part then. Could I just check a few things? So sorry, I'm a new user w/o substantive Firefox experience so this is pretty foreign to me.

1) Did you need to disable all/most addons?
2) How did you name the preference in about:config? Does the naming matter?
3) When adding the new preference in about:config, is this process correct: Right click > New > String > Name the preference > Paste in the code above w/o alterations for the preference value?

Can confirm that it's working here too with the latest rule. Trick is to paste the string into the extension property page, not into the filter editor. That one requires two separate strings, not just one

The image issue on bsky.app persists, but it's odd. The console shows that thumbnails have been retrieved from the site, but the browser is not rendering them, even with Modify HTTP Response and adoxa's filter. It's a clean browser install, so no other addons should be interfering.

The exact same issue happens on Basilisk v2024.11.23. Waterfox Classic doesn't load bsky.app, period.

I tried that page with several browsers, including a modern Firefox derivative, SeaMonkey and Pale Moon but all I got was a blue butterfly in the middle of an otherwise blank page. With a chromium browser, the butterfly disappeared after a second, leaving just the blank page. It worked only with Safari.

The aspect ratio is no longer sent as part of the image, so it's become a lot more awkward. Here's a workaround that mostly works, except for multiple images (they get a placeholder, but there seems to be something about the flex preventing the image itself showing up).
