Site comes up just fine. Please describe the problem in detail.

That's weird.
Works fine on Windows 10 33.5.0 x64

Try force-refreshing (Ctrl+F5)?

Neither force-refreshing nor new browser-start helps.

I'm guessing you're having issues with "font variations" then, as the site does seem to use it. No idea why it's a problem on Win 7 but not Win 10.

Question... are you not using ClearType font rendering? It seems the font in question is fairly thin and you may end up losing fidelity there if it can't use subpixel rendering for the font.

I'm using the default fonts shipped with Win7 which I used since I purchased this computer. Never made any changes.
As mentioned above, there are no issues with Pale Moon 33.4.1. Neither have I issues with my secondary browser.

The issue with Telepolis.de occured after updating to Pale Moon 33.5.0.

33.4.1 likely didn't load the fonts and you were using system fonts instead of downloadable fonts, then. Standard system fonts likely don't have this issue as they would probably use a different rendering method.
Or, we're once again in a "fix one site break another" scenario. If that's the case then I'll back out the *-variations change I made in 33.5.0 since it's non-standard anyway.

Sorry for replaying so late but I never messed with fonts (bloody noob regarding fonts).
So i had to do first some search on the Internet.

ClearType is not activated on this computer.

Win7 x64, clean PM 33.5.0 portable - fonts look pretty normal. Clear Type is enabled, if it's important

@ Enobarbous
Definitively not important for ClearType to be enabled.

My only solution to use Telepolis.de with Pale Moon was to revert to 33.4.1:

Are you using custom (raster?) fonts? Or is your scale (in the browser or on the system) not 100%? Even with web fonts locked and ClearType disabled, I can't get the same font as yours...

Anyway, try installing uBlock and disabling web fonts for the site in it. Maybe something will become clearer...
And definitely need someone else with win7 to check the site

Well, I found a solution that works for Telepolis.de and Pale Moon 33.5.0. :)

In Pale Moon's preferences I unchecked "Allow pages to choose their own fonts, instead of my selections above"

As far as I'm concerned the issue is solved! :)
Blocking remote fonts solves the issue. Besides, I can make a site-specific rule for Telepolis.de.

Yes, i now incidentally found out, that uBO (old 1.16.4.30) has the option to block remote fonts for a specific site.
Since i didn't want to block them in general, this now finally solved the issue for me (in latest Basilisk 2025-01-04).
