Pale Moon x64 AVX

OK guys, After using this new laptop for a coupla weeks now I am really a happy camper.
I'm using @Nuck-TH's AVX build and it's working great. Mostly ,I think, due to 8 times the memory.
Also an 8 core processor. There is no more crashing, though a few "Pale Moon (Not Responding).

That's great about the improved Pale Moon running!

Not that I think that the Windows 10 Start and Task bar is bad or anything (I like it a lot!), but I am curious, are you using a Start menu replacement like Stardock to get closer to the Windows 7 experience?

@suzyne, Firstly you need to realize I'm turning 84 in July. I've been on Win 7 for the last 12 years and
us old folk really don't like change. After getting rid of all the crapware I started with these:
>Open Shell Menu
>Old New Explorer
>7 Taskbar Tweaker
>And many *.reg files to get back many other classic options. Like:
>Classic Task Manager and many others.
Also all these laptops, I was given by the US Embassy here, had gone through the NSA software to clean
the drives and all 10 had Linux Mint Cinnamon installed on them. I'm far too old to try learning Linux.
Went to Dell and got the recovery software and reinstalled the Windows 10 Pro that came on it.

With the issues we've seen with stability, part of me wonders if Microsoft hasn't fully fixed the issues with the 32-bit compiler yet that had us use an older toolchain before.
To be on the safe side, maybe we should go back to that known-good toolchain version for Windows x86?

The OP detail does lean towards using the known-good toolchain again for x86.

Yeah does look like it (as well as other stability issue threads)

I'll make sure to reinstall the 17.3 toolchain and build with that for 32-bit for 33.1.1 and later. It's out of support by Microsoft (of course) but stability is more important here.

I asked because I expect to be in a similar situation (not from 7 to 10) but if I move to Windows 11, it would be nice if it can look/work more like Windows 10. So I totally understand not wanting change when you have something working the way you like.
