Hello.
The add-on to which you refer does not appear to be a Pale Moon add-on.
Your add-on (presumably a Mozilla Firefox add-on) may have functioned in the past due to the shared early history of Pale Moon and Mozilla Firefox.
However, the two have been very different browsers for a long time now. Just as one cannot expect a product for a Sony video game system to work with a Nintendo video game system, one cannot expect an extension which was made for Mozilla Firefox to function in Pale Moon.
After a cursory browsing of the Pale Moon Add-On Site, I have been unable to find a form of that add-on for Pale Moon. Perhaps you can find someone who would be willing to create either a version of that extension (if the licence permits) or a similar one for you, or—if you have coding experience—create such an add-on yourself.
I was able to find an extension called "Statusbar Organiser", however. I do not know whether it would be of help to you or not, but you can find it by clicking the link below:

For simple GUI customization I'd recommend Werewolf add-on.
Now, here, you see, it takes all the running you can do, to keep in the same place. If you want to get somewhere else, you must run at least twice as fast as that!

Off-topic:
That analogy seems off. A more accurate one would be expecting a Game Boy or Game Boy Color cartridge to work on the Nintendo DS, which only accepts NDS and GBA cartridges.

I have been using version 4.2.0 of this for a long time and have no issues. With the new 29 upgrade, treestyletab is broken for me but hide caption titlebar plus has no issues whatsoever. Are you 100% sure the issue is this add-on?

if "hide caption titlebar plus" is enabled tabbar disappear. i disabled all addons and i enabled them one by one and figured out that issue is "hide caption titlebar plus". i tryed to change its preferences but had no success. i dont use tree style tabs

I also have an issue with "hide caption titlebar plus" after the upgrade to v29.
@Moonchild the ability to hide the titlebar should be in the browser's options. Could you consider it?

No.
A window title is essential.

Re: after new patch "hide caption titlebar plus" extension doesnt work properly
I'm not advocating the elimination of the titlebar, only an option to hide it.
It's a matter of elegance and functionality: to have only the necessary showing at a given time. I manage to only have two bars at the top and that gives me both a clean look and monitor real estate. When "Hide Caption Titlebar" stops working I'll find myself with no options.
Unless you give me (us) an option

You could probably achieve the same thing by using Compact Moon (coupled with its Options extension).

else it will be great if i could hide palemoon menu button and buttons close/minimize/maximize

Unfortunately the option to merge the tabs and the titlebar doesn't function on LinuxLootyhoof wrote: ↑2021-02-04, 14:32You could probably achieve the same thing by using Compact Moon (coupled with its Options extension).

Of couse not as a window manager is seperate from the client area and that kind of fakery on Windows and Mac just isn't possible on linux.

Re: after new patch "hide caption titlebar plus" extension doesnt work properly
I installed HCTP 4-4.1.1 yesterday from Classic Addons Archive 2.0.3 first on Basilisk x64 latest/Linux Mint 20x64, then on Pale Moon 29.0 x64/Linux Mint 20-x64.
I didn't change many of the HCTP options, just the Basilisk Button and the Titlebar for both browsers.
Hiding the titlebar worked in both, but in Basilisk I got little conflicts with my Classic Theme Restorer configuration, as it targets similar layout settings.
So keep in mind which other add-ons might modify the GUI appearance. - I don't know the "Tree Style Tabs" thing and what it does...
In Pale Moon I also use Tab Mix Plus with changes for the Tabs look, but I've seen no problems with HCTP there yet (on Linux).

Re: after new patch "hide caption titlebar plus" extension doesnt work properly
Can someone please tell me the extension id of this (and the latest version to cause issues) so I can make sure to warn people about known problems with it?
