Pale Moon Add-ons Website Download Links
Just had an update to "I Don't Care About Cookies 3.2.1". I went to the Add-ons website to download the .xpi file and found that the download links have "javascript:void(0)". When I right click the link, there is no option to download. I checked a few other extensions and I get the same thing. I tried a new profile with the same results. Same in Firefox and SeaMonkey as well. Is the site temporarily on the fritz?

It works for me. You just need JavaScript turned on. Also don't open any of the links in a new tab; just click them normally.
I understand. I disable JavaScript too. I also understand your desire to download the XPI file itself.

I don't have JavaScript turned off. I even tried a new profile. Left clicking on the link will start the install for me, but I want to download the .xpi. Right clicking on the link displays no "Save Link As" dialog. The Squash wrote: ↑2020-09-06, 01:24It works for me. You just need JavaScript turned on. Re: Pale Moon Add-ons Website Download Links
Unfortunately the add-ons site has been modified to prevent people from downloading the xpi directly.

Re: Pale Moon Add-ons Website Download Links
Thanks coffeebreak, that explains it. It's too bad. I used the .xpi files to install/upgrade my add-ons on my machines that aren't connected to the Internet at all times. Saves me time and aggravation. I prefer complete offline file downloads for software, instead of those stub installers, for the same reason. I don't have to have all of my machines online to upgrade them.coffeebreak wrote: ↑2020-09-06, 02:54Unfortunately the add-ons site has been modified to prevent people from downloading the xpi directly.

Just install the extension and copy the .xpi from your profile's extension directory
Since the files are saved as <extension ID>.xpi, you can match extension name to ID from the about:support page.

Re: Pale Moon Add-ons Website Download Links
Yeah, I can do that, but downloading from the add-ons site was much easier.
