As in whether there is a 32 bit build or if it's exclusively x64.

Re: Borealis Navigator Pre-Release Thread
I think that was Tobin's way of saying there won't be a 32 bit build (but I could be wrong).

Re: Borealis Navigator Pre-Release Thread
I doubt it, because 32-bit Linux is very old and compiling anything for it is a PITA.

Re: Borealis Navigator Pre-Release Thread
Compiling outside your own system compiler and targeting anything but your specific distro and version is what is a pain in the ass.
If you have the minimum deps feel free to roll your own. But no sharing.

Re: Borealis Navigator Pre-Release Thread
Bottom line is.. I am not gonna put out a build of an application that is just gonna be killed in a years time. So no.. You won't be getting linux 32bit from me. Roll your own or get your system packager to do it.
Only reason Pale Moon still has one is because Pale Moon has had one and we are just running out the clock on it. NO one really wants to be bothered with it at this point. What you saw during the emergency situation some weeks back is the most you shall ever see done for Linux 32bit going forward. That is the blunt truth. Also, you're welcome. If it was up me without other considerations, I would have killed it three years ago.

Re: Borealis Navigator Pre-Release Thread
Well.. I have some good news and some ok news..
The Good news is this: BRANDING!
The OK news is that while I am gonna TRY to get the first 0.9 release by the release day for Non-Basilisk applications.. I dunno if I will be able to make that deadline. I am generally not great with deadlines but I will give it my best try. If not exactly on Defacto UXP Release day then shortly there after.
I am gonna try and get the shellservice done tomorrow which is the last major blocker for the Navigator. I also want to update/release some extensions for it and get its add-ons site going.
SO let's keep that excitement going!

Re: Borealis Navigator Pre-Release Thread
The more I use Borealis the more I love it. The user interface, performance, and overall philosophy are all clean, to the point, and no-nonsense. Very professional! Intending to migrate all activities previously done in Basilisk over to Borealis instead.
