Re: The Official Interlink Mail & News Discussion Thread
A similar "account reset" issue just occurred again on a different IMAP Gmail account than before. This time I'm getting a single, unusable "Junk" folder:
I don't know when/why these problems started to appear, but it's a fairly recent thing.
update: restarting Interlink solved this, with the usual re-download/sync and column configuration reset.

Re: The Official Interlink Mail & News Discussion Thread
Thank you Binary Outcast.
I compared Interlink with Thunderbird for two hours yesterday, and I've decided that Interlink is the way to go.
I've been using email since the early 90s. My clients included Pine, Netscape Gold, Eudora, Mozilla Appsuite, Outlook 2000, Roundcube, Android K9 and Outlook Live. Mozilla (the old Thunderbird) was the best. Outlook 2000 had some very strong points, but it was a big mistake overall because it locked me for several years into a road without alternatives.
I've recently decided to ditch the online crap and use a real client. I tested several, and decided to either use Thunberbird or Interlink. The latter won because of no-nonsense interface (eg. it has a title bar) and because of

I would normally prefer you donate to Pale Moon as that helps primary UXP development for everyone.. But I could use some United States dollars particularly right now.. So if you want to send directly to me you can do it via paypal using https://paypal.me/mattatobin. Up to you.
I am glad Interlink Mail & News works for you. BTW anyone notice how the Theme selection is growing?

Loving the Photonic theme - hoping for a dark one (can't make it on my own, sorry).

I don't have any immediate plans for that but won't rule it out for the future I guess.

This happens after selecting the new "Switch Profile...". Using the Photonic theme. Switching to the default solves it.

Yes, themes need to be updated for the addition of the new UI just like any time something is added or changed.
Harass the theme developers.

I'm already more than aware. I'm in the middle of updating a bunch of stuff for various reasons so it will be included in that.
It'll be out when it's done.

Re: The Official Interlink Mail & News Discussion Thread
Well back2themoon should be well aware that new or changed gui features require skin changes. Been on here since 2012 and all.
Besides, I don't expect it to be a major feature people are gonna constantly use.. But it is now there if they want it. That is why theme updates for it aren't as critical as others imo.

Re: The Official Interlink Mail & News Discussion Thread
GNotifier listed on the Interlink addons page doesn't install, since it is a Jetpack extension. Maybe it should be removed from the page?

It can't be unless the developer updates the install manifest. Else deactivating it will deactivate it across the board. See an announcement that was made a few times already viewtopic.php?f=1&t=23963
I don't know why people are bringing these Add-on issues to me cause you guys aren't the only ones lately.

Re: The Official Interlink Mail & News Discussion Thread
I installed the 7426 update and hell broke loose. It refuses to login to Gmail with a message "Login to server imap.gmail.com failed.". I tried re-entering the password (straight copy-paste from password database), nada. 5 min before the update, it was receiving / sending mails fine, now it's useless. So what now?
