Updated this morning and You Tube is like this:
Image

28.9.0.1

URL is https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Q_7wiz_lURg

Reverting to previous update 28.8.4 which is perfectly fine, no problems, no message.

What OS are you on?
Care to check the "useragent" you're sending to youtube?
about:config, search on 'youtube', & you'd want the value of, general.useragent.override.youtube.com.

Working on my end, the video stream & the cat [edit: chat] box.
Mozilla/5.0 (Windows NT 6.1; WOW64; rv:60.0) Gecko/20100101 Firefox/60.0 PaleMoon/28.9.0.1

They're aware of issues & are working on it.

Even with the new code for windows Pale Moon in (28.9.0.1) which is below:

Code: Select all

Mozilla/5.0 (Windows NT 6.1; WOW64; rv:60.0) Gecko/20100101 Firefox/60.0 PaleMoon/28.9.0.1
The new code for 64 bit windows Pale Moon wouldn't let me get to the new YouTube interface. I had to make a new profile and then with the code above, I was able to get to YouTube's new interface where everything in YouTube worked.

Try updating to 28.9.0.2 -- Site-specific user-agents may not have been functional at all in .0 or .0.1

If you have "uBlock Origin". disable it to see if it interferes. It did on my PM. Check (disable) other ad blockers to see if you don't have "uBlock Origin".

After a bit of fiddling it works on 28.9.0.2. The Stream didn't want to playback until I removed the 'captions always on' in my main settings—no idea how that got turned on in the first place. (Yahoo is back, also. :D )

Well done, again and thank you. :D

And where do we find this 'captions always on' setting exactly ? in about:config ?

It's a Youtube setting that you have to change.
