Find Nearest Store Function on Peets.com
https://www.peets.com/
While the rest of the site works, the "Find Nearest Store" locator does not. It just pulls up a blank box. The same thing happens in Firefox. It does correctly display in Vivaldi (chrome clone).
There was a similar problem with the Accuweather "change location" function, but the 10 December 2019, Pale Moon release fixed it.
Other than the Peet's problem I use Pale Moon 99.9% of the time.

Works fine for me on a new profile with PM 28.8 on Windows. Have you tried safe mode, to ensure it isn't being caused by some privacy-related add-on?

Windows? Isn't this the Linux forum?
I'll delete my hosts file and see if that makes a difference.
Thanks for the idea.

None. Deleting the hosts file didn't make a difference. The problem remains.

The "Find Nearest Store" works for me.
I'm using 64 bit linux Pale Moon 28.8.0 running in 64 bit linux Mint 19.3 (Tricia) Xfce. The only addons/extensions I'm using are NoSquint andn uBlock Origin. My user agent mode is Firefox Compatibility.

Re: Find Nearest Store Function on Peets.com
Did you disable geolocation? The moment the site loads it asks for your permission to use it and you obviously have to have it enabled and allow the request for the "Find Nearest Store" to function.
Some "privacy" extensions and guides on the internet disable geolocation outright (unnecessary since you are always asked permission on a per-site basis). Check about:config, preference geo.enabled -- this should be set to its default value of true

@Moonchild,
Thanks, that works, but the site did not ask permission to use it.
Isn't leaving geolocation on considered a security risk?
Thanks, again.
Edit in: As I think about it, I've never had a site ask for permission to use geolocation.

Re: Find Nearest Store Function on Peets.com
Leaving it on only means that sites that have already requested permission can use it. No site can use it unless you explicitly grant permission.

Re: Find Nearest Store Function on Peets.com
That is the way it works though. BUT it does mean you have to have geolocation enabled. If disabled, it will not ask and be denied by default to the web content.
This is what pops up when you try to find the nearest store on www.peets.com: If you want to know more about how this all works and how to undo a previously granted permission, check:

Re: Find Nearest Store Function on Peets.com
Oops! FWIW I got the same results on my Linux machine. I concur with MC - you likely have geolocation disabled, which is why the page breaks. (Silly design if you ask me, but that is the web we live in.)

Re: Find Nearest Store Function on Peets.com
Yes, geo.location was set to, false. Changing it to, true, solved the problem.
Thanks to everyone for their help.
Greatly appreciated.
