Anyone know how to fix this problem?

You will need to create a user agent override for polyfill.io, as detailed in the above thread.

I get the basic map and can collapse the sidebar. I can enter a zip code and get another location. But there is no radar display, even though the progress bar appears to show it is playing something. IE and Chrome were the same - no radar.

Sounds like MapBox or the like, is being blocked. Please check the content blocker settings, if using uMatrix or eMatrix.

I have quite a few weather sites in my Bookmarks and the Weather site is one of them. Like others, it does not work in Pale Moon with it's default user agent. Since I dual boot 64 bit linux Mint 19.2 (default linux distro) and 64 bit Windows 7 (backup operating system), I've been experimenting with different user agents for the Weather site. Below is the String code and User Agent code I use for the Weather site in both linux and windows Pale Moon which allows the Weather site to function properly for me.

For the String, I use the code below:

Code: Select all

general.useragent.override.polyfill.io
For the user agent in 64 bit linux Pale Moon I use the code below:

Code: Select all

Mozilla/5.0 (X11; Linux x86_64; rv:69.0) Gecko/20100101 Firefox/69.0
And for the user agent in 32 bit windows Pale Moon I use the code below:

Code: Select all

Mozilla/5.0 (Windows NT 6.1; WOW64; rv:69.0) Gecko/20100101 Firefox/69.0
The reason I'm using Firefox 69.0 is because Firefox 60.9 is getting old and the Weather site may change something where the Firefox 60.9 user agent won't work anymore in Pale Moon.

If it's a polyfill.io issue, then this means the weather site needs to update their polyfill.io inclusion to the current one. TFT has updated the polyfill.io lib to recognize Pale Moon as a Firefox-alike variant.
