How to test Pale Moon?

Unread post by tony-aln » 2019-07-07, 23:47

So, I want to test if a change somewhere in the code or build stages is going to make the resulting software stable and working properly as intended. How do the devs do this validation and testing? How can someone do the testing and validation of the stability and conformity of the software by themselves? What are the steps taken and tools used?

Yeah, thank you for the reply, Tobin. I was looking for something more practical, but that works too.

Can't get more practical than testing it in practice.

Unless of course with "practical" you mean "automatic" or "I don't really want to do any work for it".

No, I didn't mean automatic, but I was looking for some kind of reference web pages and software loads that are used for a standard evaluation with the expected results for them and how to measure/display them. That's what I meant with practical.
