@stevepusser
what to do?
I automatically get updates and new versions via download.opensuse maintained by you.
I run ubuntu 18.04
am I at risk and if so: how do I deal with this issue?
I'm just an ordinary user, so I don't fully understand the impact of the term "archive hack"
in regards of ubuntu.
I hope you or anybody else find the time to help me out
how to deal with the archive hack

Re: how to deal with the archive hack
The archive server, as already stated, has never been (and never will be) a normal distribution channel.
It didn't affect any regular downloads, 3rd party builds or anything else.
Just continue as normal.
