[Solved] ambient-mixer.com

Unread post by biopsin » 2019-07-07, 09:10

Hi,
need confirmation from couple of you before I contact the webmaster of ambient-mixer.com

Upon loading a mixer a dialog appear
[ Please use a recent browser in order to play the sounds. ]

test : https://other-atmospheres.ambient-mixer ... ds-to-you-

I have testet a handfull of overrides, but nothing takes.
The site was working fine with earlier Pale Moon version (pre UXP)
Just want to rule out local issue first.
Thank you.

Works fine for me.
I didn't actually try to use the mixer or anything like that, but I get no messages about outdated browsers.
I use the native user agent (Preferences > Advanced > General > Compatibility set to Native).

No problems at all. Can't reproduce.
Are you using any "privacy" extensions that manipulate the user agent string presented to websites?

EDIT: dom.workers.enabled;true (was set to false)

so it's local and I don't use any "privacy" extensions.
Guess I'll have to review a setting somewhere in about:config.
Thank you for your time and test.

Web workers are an essential part of (especially interactive) websites, even more so if they perform intense calculations (audio mixing is such a thing).
Why did you disable them?
