Pale Moon is Good, Keep it SO!
Firefox and Commodo have recently made some their browser much worse, by automatically forcing the browser to uninstall add-ons such as Adware Block. This is very under handed and uncalled for and also a Spyware Tactic. Pale Moon has kept the bookmarks feature from degrading into the ridiculous version that FF is currently running, this is good. Please keep the good things going with Pale Moon and DO NOT follow the example of the bad Software Engineering of Firefox. The Bookmarks feature in FF has become horrible.
I can see the browser is undergoing updates and improvements. Take note it handles Video slowly, and Video tasks can cause noted issues with running audio when this is seen.
Thanks

FF removed bookmarks tags; mabye that's what they're referring to?

Keep in mind, if an Add-on is determined to cause stability OR security issues it will be added to the blocklist of the relevant applications. However, we won't be doing it for personal or political reasons, unlike others.
If that was the case, there are lots I would want on level 3 block such as anything even remotely touched by Gorhill

So I wouldn't be able to use the only decent adblocker on Pale Moon?New Tobin Paradigm wrote: ↑2019-05-25, 23:22If that was the case, there are lots I would want on level 3 block such as anything even remotely touched by Gorhill

You can use uBlock Origin in Pale Moon if that is what you're referring to. You need the "legacy" version found here:R3n_001 wrote:

Neither of you must have actually read what I said. Read it again.
Only decent adblocker eh? uBlock is NOT an adblocker. It is a general use content blocker. This is direct from the man him self.
Shows what you know. Can't read and uninformed. How disappointing.

Please Tobin, clearly explain once and for all why you dislike the guy (if you have then I've missed it, sorry). Better yet, put this innuendo to rest. It's not helpful to anyone. We don't like it when people bash you and Pale Moon elsewhere, let's not do the same.
As for uBO yes, it's not an "ad-blocker" but we all know almost everyone uses it for that purpose. Yes, it's pretty damn good and yes there are also great alternatives. R3n_001's reply was unfortunate but clearly provoked by your remark.

Absolutely not. It was a clear case of seeing a few keywords and not actually reading what was written.back2themoon wrote: ↑2019-05-26, 08:56R3n_001's reply was unfortunate but clearly provoked by your remark.

Re: Pale Moon is Good, Keep it SO!
No doubt if R3n_001 had read more carefully he would have worded his response differently.
Nevertheless his reply was very much provoked by Tobin's remark: he was responding to its tone.
The back-and-forth about R3n_001's reply, and about calling uBlock Origin an adblocker etc. distracts from the real issue, which is tobin waging this feud against a developer that he hates, and his shoehorning an attack on that developer into this thread.
I can only repeat back2themoon's statement, which says it for me too:

Re: Pale Moon is Good, Keep it SO!
... The tone being obviously that of a jest, with a smiley and everything? COME ON.
Quit supporting the fucking drama already.
