Hi,
I'm running Pale Moon 28.2.0 on Ubuntu 18.04. I noticed that every time I restart the browser, all preferences revert to their defaults (annoying to say the least).
Is there something I can do, some configuration within Pale Moon or Ubuntu itself? Thanks for any insights.

Re: Preferences revert to defaults on browser restart
Do you have a user.js file in your Pale Moon profile directory? If so, that could be resetting your preferences. Also, check your permissions on that directory just to verify that whatever user Pale Moon is running as can write to those files.

Make a change.
Quit PM.
Look in prefs.js & see if the particular Pref is set as you changed it?
Look for multiple pref-*.js files (which might indicate a permissions issue).

I had that problem. but since I had an older distro version(2014) , I upgraded the distro(fresh install) and the problem stopped. So it may not be the solution you are hoping for.
