PM 28.2.1 history, etc. will not clear from menu
With Pale Moon 28.2.1 for Mac, History Menu > Clear Recent History does not clear the history. The preference setting to clear history when the browser closes does work, but I prefer to use the History menu.

Silly me, I did not think to try Safe Mode. It was BetterPrivacy preventing that clearing. I had to change one setting in its preferences. I cleared the checkbox for "Prevent the Firefox 'Clear Recent History' functions from handling LSOs as usual cookies", and now history clearing is back to normal.

I'll allow I have seen the same as Goodydino. (on PM 28.*, PM 27.*, W7 x86)
That setting in BetterPrivacy v1.77 (not in v1.68) does interfere with clearing recent history (and other types of data on demand).
I could see it in the UI, e.g. in the History menu, panel or sidebar:
When that BetterPrivacy setting is disabled, "Clearing Recent History" (Ctrl+Shift+Del) makes the history entries disappear (for me).
But if the setting is enabled the entries are unaffected, they just sit there (for me).
