Question about updates

Unread post by pmuser1234 » 2018-11-05, 18:19

Is there a way to be notified automatically when a new version of pale moon is available? Or do we have to rely on either checking the Help>About or the start page?

If you have the option "Check for updates, but let me choose whether to install them" checked in your update settings, Pale Moon should open a popup window to notify you that an update is available when one is indeed available.

Or if it's available in a repo compatible with your distro, you can have something that notifies you of updates.

Odd, I don't remember doing the one for Sparky. ;)
