Java plugin stopped working / showing up on EL7.5

Unread post by jmp242 » 2018-10-24, 18:45

I'm running Scientific Linux 7.5 and the 64 bit version of Pale Moon 28.1.0. I also tried a 32 bit install of 27.9.4. Neither sees the iceteaweb 1.7.1 plugin installed on my computer. They're not available in the Tools -> AddOns -> Plugins area. Does IcedTea-Web still work with Pale Moon?

Pale Moon looks for add-ons in a different location than Firefox. Add-ons are usually installed in the location Firefox expects. This also happens with the Flash plugin. See https://linux.palemoon.org/help/faq/#noplugins for instructions on solving the problem.
