Open any news article at cbc.ca, e.g. http://www.cbc.ca/news/world/lava-bomb-boat-hawaii-volcano-1.4749206 and it freezes 30 seconds. Then it comes up with "Warning: Unresponsive script" for script http://www.cbc.ca/g/stats/amplitude-library.js:1 Is there any way short of noscript to fix this?

It's got some ads that refresh themselves resulting in CPU spikes, otherwise, not particularly seeing any issues.
Though other then the ads, the page alone - when focused, seems to eat ~5% CPU?
(Other browser are similarly affected.)

if you're using script blockers already then that might actually be the cause of it.
I can't reproduce any hung script on my end. Using ABL to block the heavy ads, it actually loads pretty snappy.
