Pale Moon 28.0.0a4 for Mac
Before you give this unofficial build a spin read this thread: viewtopic.php?f=1&t=19235
Now that you've done that and feel comfortable, you may download it here:
https://drive.google.com/file/d/1dN18-0 ... sp=sharing
FYI: PM28 builds for Mac will not work on 10.6 snow leopard. You'll need 10.7 or higher.
Cheers

Hey wicknix, supercool, that you're doing these new builds too!
At the moment I can't test, but I plan to upgrade to Mavericks eventually, haven't decided on a ssd for my 2009 Mac mini yet, but I’m definitely keen on checking out UXP PM. Hopefully in the meantime others help out with testing.

Should I wait for Sugis to make their unstable build instead?

You could wait, but there wont be any "official unstable" releases for Mac. Not for awhile yet anyway, as PM has never officially supported macosx. The goal is to get macosx officially supported sooner than later however. That's why all mac builds currently use the unofficial "new moon" branding.

Alright. If I delete my PM, and get this version, will all my bookmarks (and history) carry over?wicknix wrote:You could wait, but there wont be any "official unstable" releases for Mac. Bookmarks yes. I'm not 100% sure about history however as i have PM set to never remember history.

Re: Pale Moon 28.0.0a4 for Mac
Right on. Well i can say, after 10.6, 10.9 is probably the last good OSX before things got too iOS-like. I do like mavericks and use it daily on my 2007 imac. It can handle up to el capitan, but i dislike 10.10 and 10.11. I triple boot 10.6/10.9/10.11 on that machine. My 2006 imac, and 2008 macbook triple boots 10.6/10.7/10.8 (macpostfactor hack for 10.8 on both). I only keep 10.11 around for the newer garageband. My guess is that 10.12-10.14 are just as bad as 10.10/10.11, if not worse. At the moment I can't test, but I plan to upgrade to Mavericks eventually, haven't decided on a ssd for my 2009 Mac mini yet, but I’m definitely keen on checking out UXP PM. Okay, I can now confirm that this build of Palemoon does NOT remember the last session from the 27.9.0 build. The builds are not 100% compatible.
Re: Pale Moon 28.0.0a4 for Mac
I can confirm that this build is working great on my Mid 2009 MacBook Pro running OS X 10.9.5. Also I can confirm that all my add-ones still work which is fantastic.

Alright, switched to this build for now on. Every window is now draggable, which is an instant plus. However, I cannot restore any prior session, and the option is permanently greyed out. Also, the bookmarks tend to disappear when I open the browser each new time (have to manually "deselect" and select to make them appear).
Will use Waterfox until the "restore session" works.
