I'm evaluating the other ff legacy fork "Waterfox" - available only in memory-hungry x64, but enables e10s. The current ff56-based test build includes aa long list of security backports from ff57+ ... are these included in Basilisk, too? Or is the forked code base so different that it doesn't apply?

... yes, FF57+ security issues are being ported over if applicable.Fixed several security bugs: CVE-2017-7837, CVE-2017-7832, CVE-2017-7830, CVE-2017-7835, CVE-2017-7831, CVE-2017-7838, CVE-2017-7839, CVE-2017-7828, CVE-2017-7840, and several others from Firefox 57 that do not have a CVE designation.
