I would dearly love to preview Basilisk, but for the life of me I can't get it to open/run.
It downloads and installs with no issue, when I go to open it, I get the same error message:
Basilisk.exe error
api-ms-win-crt-runtime-I1-1-0.dll is missing from my computer.
I have Visual C++ 2103 Redistributable, x86 and x64 both, installed.
I have no problem running Pale Moon (64 Bit), Firefox up to V54 - dropped down to 52 ESR before 57.
Do I need VC++ 2015 or later to run Basilisk?
Any other direction to point me in to resolve this?
I am at a loss.
Thanks, in advance.

A quick online search of "api-ms-win-crt-runtime-I1-1-0.dll is missing" implies that you need to have Microsoft update KB2999226 ("Update for Universal C Runtime in Windows") installed. Do you have that installed?tpaulr wrote:api-ms-win-crt-runtime-I1-1-0.dll is missing from my computer.

Re: Can't Open Basilisk...System Error
We'll be bundling the Universal C runtime DLLs in the next update as well (planned Dec 5th)

Exactly the same issue. I'll wait for the next update.
